A solid and highly enjoyable follow-up to A Dead and Aimless Hum that continues the winning formula of hauntingly ethereal vocals + massively fuzzy sludge guitars but with some surprising sonic and stylistic choices that keeps things fresh and exciting, such as the chiming kalimba of Hours, the warm synth pads and 'violin' of Shrines, and the folksy ballad-cum-headcrusher In The Pines.
